The Greenbriar at Whittingham
The Greenbriar at Whittingham Computer Club GWCC) is dedicated to educating and assisting club members in the use of personal computers.
Classes, speakers, Q&A clinics and demonstrations are held in the community's Town Centre. Club meetings are open to all club members in good standing.
The club also provides assistance to the community at large, providing employees with computer maintenance and training when.
Membership is open to all of the community’s residents. Dues are $10.00 a year, payable by January 1st of each year, are used to support the club’s activities.
The club operates on a calendar year.
All residents are invited to sample the club’s general meetings and are encouraged to join the club.
GENERAL MEETINGS, held at 9:30 am on the fourth Saturday of each month, are comprised of demonstrations, discussions and a Question and Answer period in which individuals’ questions are addressed.
WORKSHOP MEETINGS, held on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 pm, have the same agenda’s as the General Meetings, but deal with subjects which are a bit more complex.
CLASSES and/or DISCUSSION GROUPS are held in the Towne Centre between 9:00 and 11:00 am on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. These include a Q&A Clinic, at which we try to provide solutions to problems encountered by individual members.
Meetings are held in the Town Centre, rooms to be announced by a poster at the Concierge Desk on the day of the meeting.
